Ocean Freight Operations Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Operations Specialist with a strong understanding of operational processes and a solution-oriented approach to join our international logistics and freight forwarding team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end import and export sea freight operations and documentation.
• Coordinate operational and documentation processes with shipping lines, agents, customers, international partners, and suppliers.
• Make reservations and follow up on shipments throughout the operational process.
• Prepare bills of lading (B/L), manifests, order forms, and other operational documents.
• Respond to customer requests and provide timely, effective solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3–4 years of experience in international freight forwarding operations.
• Proficiency in the operational and documentation processes described above.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• Strong communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and a sense of responsibility.
