Sea Freight Import Customer Service Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a small, internationally active logistics company specialising in sea freight imports and exports. Through our global network, we provide individual logistics solutions to customers in Germany and worldwide.

To strengthen our Hamburg team, we are looking for a motivated Sea Freight Import Customer Service Specialist with a customer-focused mindset and an interest in sales support and freight forwarding operations.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

• Full-time position.
• Permanent employment contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently manage customer orders within sea freight sales support.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers through to order confirmation.
• Manage and develop customer relationships in collaboration with the supervisor.
• Communicate with international customers by telephone and email.
• Support the processing of sea freight import and export shipments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Initial experience in sales support, pricing, or freight forwarding operations.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• A genuine interest in sales and customer relationship development.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
